Home decor just got better in Toronto, with these four awesome stores.

HOME DECOR JUST GOT BETTER IN TORONTO, WITH THESE FOUR AWESOME STORES.If you're like me Target was your go-to for affordable home decor and you’re likely still upset about it pulling out of Canada. Well, keep reading because I've got news that will help heal your wounds. Put that kleenex box away, there’s a new home decor store in town. And by town, I mean city. And by city, I mean Toronto. And by home decor store, I mean H&M Home. That's right, Canada’s first H&M Home concept store is coming to the Toronto Eaton Centre!Oh yes.But wait there’s more, so keep reading. On second thought, keep that kleenex box nearby, because I predict tears of joy.

H&M Home (your go-to for funky home decor!)

Canada needed this. It’s the affordable home decor we’ve all been waiting for; almost everything is under $69.99. H&M Home is opening its doors this Thursday (February 25, 2016) at 10:00am. They are giving the first 300 people in line a chance to save up to $300 off their entire purchase. If you’re looking for me next Thursday, you know where I’ll be.Home decor: H&M Home is coming to Toronto!

Simons (a Canadian home decor department store)

If you’ve never been to Quebec, it’s possible you’re not aware of Simons, but let me fill you in. It’s a department store that offers clothing and accessories for men and women, and, you guessed it, home decor! They offer a mix of high and low pricing. They are opening their first Ontario store on March 17, 2016 at Square One in Mississauga.Home decor: Simons is coming to Toronto!

Saks Fifth Avenue (the not-so-affordable home decor store)

This famous department store opened its door at the Eaton Centre last week, plusanother set to open at Sherway Gardens on February 25, 2016. Saks Fifth Avenue offers clothing and accessories for women, and, of course, home decor! This is a luxury brand, but you can find a few killer home decor items for less than $75 (and it’s got a lovely selection from Kate Spade, which I love, love, love!).Home decor: Saks Fifth Avenue is coming to Toronto.

Saks Off 5th (up to 70% off home decor? Yes, please!)

Saks Fifth Avenue’s sister store, Saks Off 5th is opening at Vaughan Mills and Outlet Collection in Niagara sometime in spring. I have never set foot in a Saks Off 5th, but what I’ve read is that everything will be up to 70% off. And that’s something I can get behind (unless it's 70% off a $23,108.64 blanket, I still can't get behind that). I’ve checked out their American website and I am liking what I’m seeing! They carry luxury brands, and more importantly home decor.Home decor: Saks Off 5th is coming to Toronto!I'd love to hear from you!

  • Which brands are you most excited for?
  • Any other brands you'd like to see come to Canada?

As always, thanks for reading,Michelle
